It’s a New Moon in Libra at 19 degrees, yet this one has the vibes of a Full Moon, so let’s take note of what’s up currently in the cosmos. The Sun in 19 degrees is directly next to the Moon, so it’s adding heat and energy to this lunar cycle, unlike last month’s New Moon. Whereas last month was more chill and introverted, this month the dark moon is much “brighter” and more illuminated than normal. Hence, our shadows are coming into the light and change is beckoning you forth. Will you stay or will you go? Sorry to break it to you, babe…but you may not have a choice this time around. Libra rules the 7th House of Committed Relationships/Partnerships in astrology, so this theme of cutting ourselves loose from what isn’t serving us anymore in relationships, letting go of what must be released and setting ourselves free with our own karma in mind is key. And this month, it’s got a mind of its own with the influence of Uranus shaking things up big-time.

The Sun represents our Ego and our masculine vibes, so it’s a get-shit-done kind of energy affecting us here. There’s also another factor that’s about to blast our butts into gear, but most likely in a completely far-out, unexpected way: URANUS. That’s right - the Notorious B.I.G. planet of surprises and innovation is sitting pretty directly opposite the Moon this cycle, so prepare yourself for sudden change and be totally open to how it occurs. The most important thing to remember here is, YOU ARE NOT IN TOTAL CONTROL. Uranus is like the Divine Puppetmaster, pulling strings when necessary to blast us out of old habits or surprise us with something we’d never have planned, but that shakes us up like the perfect martini (dirty, up, 3 olives, hits right below the brim…) or suddenly reorganizes our life like a game of Yatzee, where the pieces fall out exactly as they’re meant for us.
