Dark Moon in Scorpio - 11:11 + Spiritual Awakening

The New Moon this month will occur today, Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 19 degrees Scorpio at 12:37pm EST.

New Moon has arrived. And with it tremendous change. As I’m writing this article, I have a massive pressure around the third eye center of my head. This New/Dark Moon is bringing with it a very powerful energetic shift, and it just so happens to be on the auspicious date of 11/11. You may notice this shift in frequncy on a physical, mental, emotional or spiritual level - or ALL of the above if you're sensitive and tuned in. You may be feeling more tired than normal, irritable, overly emotional, brain-foggy, confused, disoriented, impatient or be getting physical symptoms like headaches. Perhaps your dreams have been more active than normal or your Spirit Guides have been knocking loudly at your metaphysical door? Whatever the case is for you, this change in frequency is occuring and you're being prepared to move into the next spiritual phase of your life.

You may notice yourself looking at the clock at precisely 1:11 or 11:11. For me, this happens almost every day. When we begin to notice synchronicities like this happening, it’s simply giving us proof that we are in tune with our Spirit Guides, with our Higher Self and with the Universal Energies all around us. We came into this life with "soul amnesia" and are given the opportunity and mission to "wake up" during our lifetime. It's up to us to notice the signs all around us. 11:11 is a reminder that we are spiritual beings having a human experience.

11:11 is like a Divine wake up call. When you see this number sequence, thoughts are manifesting rapidly. Pay attention to whatever it is that you’re thinking and adjust your thoughts accordingly to whatever you desire to draw into your experience.

This New Moon in Scorpio is particularly well-timed, especially considering that the Karmic Big Daddy of Lessons, Saturn, recently left the sign of Scorpio after sitting in that energy for 2.5 years. This makes the New Moon today a bit less heavy (since Saturn is now in Sagittarius, so that oppressive vibe has cleared) and more about the gateway being WIDE OPEN to a new chapter of your life. Fresh starts. Karmic rewards if we've been acting in integrity. Good things on the way.

When Saturn left the sign of Scorpio back in June, we experienced an ending of that 2.5 year cycle (it moved in Scorpio in the fall of 2012). Now that Saturn has changed course, we’ve got the opportunity to celebrate all the hard work we’ve put in since the end of 2012 to being this new phase. 2015 has been full of intense energies, which are a direct indication of our collective rise in consciousness. We ARE in the Age of Aquarius, when we’re meant to be “waking up”, experiencing profound spiritual shifts, waking up to our Divine identity and understanding our soul’s mission and purpose here on Earth. More and more people are coming out as “Lightworkers”, a term that notes individuals that have incarnated with a specific intent to be of compassionate service to help heal humanity. We’re all coming out of the woodwork, but the timing is perfectly right. We're all beginning to recognize the meaning and power of Divine Order in our lives. Being in "control" of everything is impossible and overrated. Surrendering to the bigger, wiser plan that our soul deliberately chose prior to incarnating in this lifetime can help take a lot of pressure off always feeling like you need to know the answer or have a solution to every little challenge that pops up on your path. TRUST is what you must embrace at this time. Walk into the darkness with open arms.

Scorpio in the zodiac wheel of astrology is the sign of the deepest, darkest transformation, ruled by Pluto. Scorpio is secretive. Mysterious. Magnetic. Powerful. Manipulative. Controlling. Potent. It represents sex, death, rebirth and transmutation. Regeneration. Starting over. Uncovering what’s been hidden. Whatever has been happening in your life that isn’t in alignment with your Higher Self (which is free of ego and knows what’s best for you at all times) WILL fall away at this time. The space must be cleared for us to rise in consciousness, but it must be a group effort. Whatever is no longer serving you is actively being cleared away. It may feel rather effortless or it may be a cataclysmic change, like an earthquake or tornado of events in your life. Your willingness to release the old, to let go, to begin anew will lessen the pain or intensity. Be OPEN to change. Be open to transformation. Know that whatever is yours IS yours and cannot be taken away from you. Beautiful shifts are born from chaos. Trust that whatever is happening in your life, whatever is ending, whatever is falling apart is occurring so that the new may enter. First the old must go.

And since the New Moon is also happening on this magically energized date, whatever intentions you set now will take on extra meaning and strength. Be bold. Take a leap of faith. Make a wish. Jump into the unknown. Whatever you say or plan will have an extra jolt of cosmic energy and the net always appears for those that trust in their inner wisdom and act in full integrity with their highest values. Act wisely for yourself and for the benefit of humanity.
