Full [Cold] Moon in Cancer Dec 25th; Home is Where the Healing Is
The Full Cold/Oak Moon occurs at 11:11 UTC today, December 25th, 2015 in the sign of Cancer. It’s an extremely special lunar cycle, not only because it arrives on the holiday at the auspicious time of 11:11 (to read more about the meaning of seeing 11:11, check out my previous article on the New Moon in November 2015 HERE), but also because of what else is happening simultaneously in the cosmos and around the world energetically over the past few months. Bottom line: We are “waking up”, whether we like it/realize it or not.
Anyone who follows astrology knows that the zodiac water sign of Cancer is in fact the ruling sign of the Moon. Anybody with strong Cancer influences in their natal chart, whether it be their Sun/Ascendant/Moon sign or several planets in the sign, will be HIGHLY influenced by their emotional nature. Imagine the crab (the symbol of this zodiac) – it uses its claws not only to hold on, but also to protect itself. If you know a Cancer intimately, you know how they have a tendency to use their emotions as weapons when feeling threatened. Mood swings are the norm (especially around the new and full moons) and clinging too tightly to safety/security to their eventual detriment is very often the case. Not to say that Cancers don’t also have beautiful qualities like loyalty, tenacity, an innate creativity/sensitivity and serious family values; it’s just that the main soul contract in this lifetime of a Cancer is to embrace their emotional nature, to use it to their advantage and to the benefit of others without manipulation, and to learn the delicate balance of giving and receiving. Cancers must learn to let go, to surrender, to accept what is, to release the need to control (they do it mainly out of fear), to give to themselves before giving to others and to open themselves up to receiving at the same time. Not an easy lesson for any of us, really. Compassion rules when it comes to a Cancer.
Cancer/the Moon also represent the mother, the home, family, nurturing others and how we take care of ourselves – both physically and emotionally. It’s the perfect zodiac sign to fall on Christmas Day, since this holiday is so inextricably linked to family and what happens at home. If you’ve felt overly nostalgic, melancholy or even mildly depressed this holiday season, don’t fret. This too shall pass. The less you resist, the easier it will be.
The Moon, along with all of the other forces of the Universe, are indeed hard at work this December, uncovering all of those shadowy areas of your psyche that have yet to be discovered and accepted by you so that you'll be able to move into the new fifth-dimensional energy matrix by releasing old karmic behavior that will not serve your evolution moving forward.
Being surrounded by our family brings all our shiz to the surface (it's a good thing), so patience this month is going to be your greatest virtue. And if you’re not around family for the holidays, you may be mirroring the closest friends in your life instead. Either way, it’s time to stare into that mirror of truth and start giving some serious love to your darker side. If you don’t bring any light to your darkness, it will continue to haunt you in a myriad of ways, none of which will help your growth or soul’s evolution. And we’ve come to an impasse societally where spiritual growth is less of a choice and more of a critical mode of survival. Without faith, how are you able to make ANY sense of what’s happening globally? Wars, violence, hatred and the like are running rampant and the Universe is sending us sign after sign that to end this drama we must raise our vibration worldwide. Everything takes time. A baby takes over 9 months to form. Our ascension won’t happen overnight, but change is certainly manifesting at a rapid rate and information is being brought to our attention so as not to be ignored any longer.

Babaji says that this mantra is needed over the coming days, especially on the Full Moon of the 25th December. This is a time of great shifting and moving on the higher planes. Many could find their human lives uprooted, if they are not in connection with the highest truth codes. Relationships may alter or break down. The Heart will Speak, and it will speak loud.
Many Light Workers' traditional holiday and New Year celebrations will be different this year. This is because the light codes that are activating require attention and focus. It is a time to draw within, to see where the Light is taking you, and to listen to Source.
Resist the pull of being overly busy. You will need the 'downtime', the rest, the solitude and the calm. Be in natural surroundings regularly.
